TrueCare & Lennar Foundation Health Center at Casa de Amparo will serve resident girls ages 12 to 18 and their children who have been traumatized by severe child abuse or neglect.

Casa de Amparo’s mission is to support those affected by and at risk of child abuse and neglect, through a range of programs and services that promote healing, growth, and healthy relationships. Casa de Amparo, located in San Diego, has three housing programs available for abused and neglected children and young adults who are in need of assistance.

Family Promise of Orange County and HomeAid OC in partnership with City of Tustin break ground on House of Ruth, a two-story, seven-unit apartment complex that will offer short-term transitional, private residences for families experiencing homelessness and include a community resource center.

Family Promise of Orange County helps families experiencing homelessness achieve housing stability. They are developing a House of Ruth in Orange County, California, containing short-term transitional housing in addition to a community resource center for families with children who are experiencing homelessness.

HomeAid Sacramento

HomeAid Sacramento builds and refurbishes shelter facilities for the temporarily homeless. HomeAid Sacramento is partnering with Volunteers of America in Sacramento County to build a laundry room in their Veterans Apartments. The Veterans Apartments, comprising twelve units and serving 34 individuals and families, did not have laundry services on-site. The grant will enable the individuals and families living there to avoid the trips to the laundromat and to clean their clothing on the property where they live.


Poverello House

Poverello House, located in Fresno, provides people who are experiencing homelessness a pathway out of homelessness by providing food, shelter, and services. Believing in the dignity of every person, Poverello House works to enrich the lives and spirits of everyone they help. Their Village of Hope provides services from case managers and shelter to 80 people per night.

Rancho Damacitas is remodeling their Empowerment Village transitional homes for homeless single mothers and their children. These homes will be a beautiful, safe and dignified space where single mothers can find refuge, experience life change and become equipped to take on the next stage in their journey to thrive.

Visalia Rescue Mission serves the needs of the underserved and underrepresented people in the community, especially those experiencing the complicated challenges of homelessness, poverty, and recovery. They help people through meals, shelter, employment assistance, housing assistance, youth outreach, counseling, and substance abuse counseling.
